About This Game Aliya Elasra is an archaeologist, exploring a strange region of space called the Nebula with her robot sidekick Six, hoping to uncover the secrets of the long-forgotten past. When a roboticist from the University of Iox goes missing, Aliya begins a trail of discoveries that will lead to the very edge of her world - and the ancient secret of Heaven's Vault. "One of the most well-realized video game worlds ever, with your curiosity and personality molding your story through the Nebula" - USGamer"Heaven’s Vault is both ambitious and beautiful. It conjures a world rich with life... I don’t hesitate to recommend Heaven’s Vault." - Game Informer"Heaven's Vault is one of the most enthralling narrative-driven adventure games I've played" - WiredSail an open-world of fast flowing space-rivers, discover lost ruins, explore ancient sites, find artefacts and translate their strange hieroglyphics. Piece together the history of the world and an entire ancient language. From the creators of massively-branching interactive adventure 80 Days, Heaven's Vault is not your usual linear adventure game. What will you lose? 6d5b4406ea Title: Heaven's VaultGenre: Adventure, IndieDeveloper:inkle LtdPublisher:inkle LtdRelease Date: 16 Apr, 2019 Heaven's Vault Free Download Key Serial Number heaven's vault trailer. heaven's vault language. heavens vault download. heaven's vault buy. heaven's vault a change of heart. heaven's vault ancient aquifer. heaven's vault hours. heaven's vault free download. vault in heaven crossword. heaven's vault imgur. heaven's vault tapi. heaven's vault nintendo switch. heaven's vault nintendo switch. heaven's vault new game plus. heaven's vault hltb. heaven's vault xbox. vault heavens ernst wilhelm. heaven's vault tips. heaven's vault ost. heaven's vault igg. heaven's vault xbox. heavens vault steam discussions. vault of heaven. heaven's vault wisdom of swine. heavens vault the wisdom of swine. heaven's vault playtime. heavens vault steamspy. heaven's vault cratered moon. heaven's vault linux. heaven's vault a reunion. heavens vault steam discussions. heaven's vault map. heaven's vault ps4 release date. heaven's vault olan rogers. heaven's vault aquifer. vault in heaven meaning. heaven's vault ps4 trophies. heaven's vault ps4 store. heaven's vault length. heaven's vault book. heaven's vault cast. heaven's vault on steam. heaven's vault locations. heaven's vault pc. heaven's vault metacritic. heaven's vault ps4 patch. heaven's vault how long. heaven's vault apk. heaven's vault oroi. heavens vault review. heaven's vault tips. heaven's vault observatory. heaven's vault eurogamer For a game about exploration is sure loves taking away control quite a lot. It is also painfully slow in both exploring the world, dialogues, and pacing. Added to that there is the rather bad controls, which often gets in its own way. I don't know the number of times pressing Y had be instead of moving to a location, jump back to the ship and not letting me return. The translation game also has it's flaws. Quite often I have to continue building a wrong sentence until it marks enough words as wrong so that it can continue with the final guessing.. As interesting as the worldbuilding is, this is the first game I've ever played where I've been impatient for cutscenes to end. It's not that the cutscenes are boring, but rather that the central translating mechanic is SO MUCH FUN. I'm obsessed, which makes it very easy to roleplay as Aliya, even when she's being a jerk - like her, I can't wait to get back into some ruins and get my hands on some more Ancient Language!I haven't quite gotten a handle on how the roleplaying works yet - if there's a way to tell which of the two reply options it gives you is going to be the rude one and which the nice, I haven't found it. And as much as I love the translations, the other central mechanic, of sailing on the astral rivers, isn't my favorite, so I'm excited to try the update that lets you fast travel to more locations! Searching for undiscovered sites is going to stay tedious, but that's mostly because I'm overeager for more ruins - I could wait until I find more clues to narrow the search area.Overall, the world is interesting and the main character has a lot of personality, which I respect even if I wish I could make her be a little nicer to our pet robot. Most importantly, I LOVE the translation mechanic, and I suspect that those of you who are language nerds and perfectionists will love it too.. A fantastic and unique game if you are fan of adventure games. A gold standard in storytelling and worldbuilding and worth the price on the tin. Demands multiple replays to try different combinations and grow your vocabulary. Great middle section and engaging storytelling hamstrung ultimately by a binary ending that made me think of Mass Effect 3 in terms of how frustrating.PROS-Some of the best world-building I've ever seen in a game. The way the lore is discovered, and how your own actions affect the characters' UNDERSTANDING of said lore is absolutely unique. Absolutely the best feature of the game and will make it recommended study in writing classes years from now.-The translation mechanic is really interesting, and really pushes you to explore the world more and more. The logic of the language is sound (save for maybe an edge case of a word here and there that seems to be counterintuitive).-Rewards exploration, combing over ruins rewards you with new words to really increase your understanding of the game.-The replayability is insane. The new game+ concept of carrying over your dictionary from playthrough to playthrough makes each subsequent replay more revealing. I'm wrapping up my third and will likely start my fourth now. -Writing and characterization is really well done, you're not creating a character a la an RPG (Aliya and her compatriots all have relatively set personalities) but your actions within those realms are very consistent and allow you to immerse yourself within them.-Active dev team working to respond to community feedback and bug reports, especially narrative breaks and things like that.CONS-The artstyle of the game is... sometimes really unfortunate. While the 3D environemtns have a fun simplistic cartoony look, the sprites can become really tiresome. Setting aside the jarring animation (especially for any character who isn't Aliya or her robot) the artstyle chosen can only be described as tumblr-esque. Ugly characters across the board (save for our protagonist), weird proportions, completely inexplicable rosacia. It definitely took some getting used to.-VERY punishing progression system. You can't revisit older ruins you've already explored (with no justifications save for ONE moon of the near dozen you can visit). Accidentally hitting the wrong button, missing an artifact, etc. can ruin an entire playthrough (especially if you had a specific goal). Which, if you're on a replay trying to do something specific, can make you play through hours before you can redo (as restarting the game wipes your dictionary).-The ending is static, and literally nothing you do affects the actual ending (aside from your characters' understanding of what's going on). It's especially disappointing as literally every other aspect of the game is affected by your choices. The order you do things shapes your entire perspective throughout any given playthrough. But when you reach the last act of the game, (which can come at pretty much any point after the opening chapters), the game is gonna be pretty much no different playthorugh to playthrough, and the ending itself is entirely underwhelming, making it really unclear what the developers intentions were with the ending or the story as a whole.Overall though, the game is a fantastic experience, its replayability makes the disappointing ending more like a bump in an otherwise incredible story. inkle studios has achieved something unique and incredible, and hopefully the work they've done inspire many others and lead to huge developments in storytelling and worldbuilding. Absolutely pick it up!. As someone who occupies most of their time with studying ancient history, loves Ancient Egypt, and is also a language enthusiast who studied linguistics as well, this game was simply perfect for me. If you are even remotely interested in linguistics, history and archaeology, as well as liking adventure\/exploration games with a heavy focus on the narrative and making choices, then this will be a great experience for you. I am calling it an experience more than a game, because for me it had less to do with playing any game mechanics and more with getting immersed in the world, the characters and its lore.Basically Heaven's Vault invites you to grab a cup of coffee, put on your archaeology hat and then become part of a beautifully crafted setting that heavily draws from the Ancient cultures of our Earth, mostly the natives\/indigenous and of course Egyptian\/African ancient history and culture.Highly recommended for those people like me who are a bit tired of all the violent, drama heavy\/focused entertainment out there and want to engage with more profound and beautiful ideas. Thank you, dev team, for creating this work of art. Please more of this :). Really a quite fascinating and unique game. It's has its quirks - odd UI choices, maddeningly slow walking and pauses in dialogues, but more than makes for it by wonderfully evoking an entire little civilization, and the brilliant use of deciphering the Ancient script to slowly unravel the "true" history of the Nebula. Not too often when you finish the game, you immediately want to start another playthrough, but Heaven's Vault did that.. Playtime: About 10 to 15 hoursHeaven's Vault is one of the most captivating games I've ever played.Tremendous world building, great characters, and an engrossing narrative and overarching mystery. This is easily one of my favorite games of 2019. I just finished it and i'm already excited to play it again. If you're a fan of Inkle, adventure games, or unique sci-fi settings do not let this game pass you by!. Score:8.5\/10Time: 8-15 hours (main request only),20-40 hours (a language learned)Summary:An excellent game but requires a little patience, which will give you a new experience of flying around a beautiful world, study a lost language, explore the history of a universe as a pirate-like archaeologist and decide what is your story.Cons:1. Too slow! when you want to translate something and gather more information from the trader, the scholar and other people. Gathering these inscriptions and trying to translate more are torturing me.2. There are some events requesting some relics, but if you hesitate you lose the chance when you have multiple choices of dealing with these relics.3. There is no dictionary or inventory inside the UI\/game showing the words and relics you collected, and the timeline is sometimes inconvenient notwithstanding the timeline is good for sorting out the history of the Nebula. 4. No turning back to a moon that you haven't explored thoroughly.5. Few side quest.6. No free exploration chance after the game ends.7. Start+ mode is not as is expected, what we need is to move faster, skip talking and rewind time, which will help learn new things about the language and the history or get a new ending. This made this game quite a one-time game.8. No tutorial for conversations.Pros:1. Good story.2. Excellent art and music.3. Open story throughout the game.4. Easy for players to get hold of the past of entire universe of Nebula.5. There are humor hidden throughout the game.6. A new language learned. p.s. The fight with Aamir really LMAO.(From a Sorcery! series player.). As interesting as the worldbuilding is, this is the first game I've ever played where I've been impatient for cutscenes to end. Most importantly, I LOVE the translation mechanic, and I suspect that those of you who are language nerds and perfectionists will love it too.. This is a very careful recommendation. The game is very unique and does many things right, but it comes with its share of issues, most stemming from its open-world trappings and design. At times it can be excellent and like nothing else on the market, but those moments are few and far between, drowned in rather tedious exploration and many small control and camera issues. When it works, it's great, but sadly it mostly doesn't work. That said, I am all for supporting developers who take these sorts of creative risks, and the positives outweigh the negatives, if slightly.. This is a very careful recommendation.
